Rachel (she/her) is a Canadian Certified Counsellor. She completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences with a major in Addictions Counselling in 2013 and her Master of Counselling in 2024. She has previous experience working in the mental health and addictions field as a Mental Health and Substance Use Intake Clinician and Addictions Counsellor where she supported children, youth, and adults.
Rachel has always had a passion for supporting others in their healing journey. Rachel provides therapy through an integrative approach with a focus on the mind-body connection. She walks alongside her clients and works with each of them to understand their unique lived experiences, cultural identities, and hopes for the therapy process. Rachel believes that everyone is the expert of their own lives but may need a little support along the way. Rachel has a special interest in incorporating techniques used in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), existential therapy, and somatic therapy.
